Reformer training can be private, or semi-private. These sessions are designed for the individual, built around their strengths. During these sessions a variety of apparatuses will be used to help achieve their goals.
Small group classes include Barre and Mat Pilates. These classes are designed for the individual looking for a group exercise setting with individualized attention, giving them accountability, and camaraderie.
Pilates Reformer is done on a reformer machine. Using body weight and springs to give support and resistance with more dynamic movements. The use of springs allows a series of exercises to be easier or harder depending on the individuals level.
Barre is inspired by elements of ballet, yoga, and pilates. Barre is a full body workout, typically broken down into sections to focus on major muscles groups such as arms, legs, glutes, and core. The muscle groups are fatigued with small movements and repetition, adding in light weight and resistance for more of a challenge.
Mat Pilates is a series of exercises using your own body weight as resistance. This practice focuses on a full body workout, for the individual to gain mobility, stability, flexibility, strength, and more. A variety of props can be used while moving through exercises giving support to achieve the proper form. Adding props can also make exercises more challenging.
